About Us

Solway Harps, formerly the Dumfries & Galloway branch of the Clarsach Society, is a Scottish registered charity whose principal object is to promote the playing of the harp. We are delighted to welcome players of any sort of harp, though mainly our group plays the lever harp, the 'clarsach' (Gaelic for 'harp'). Membership is open to all whether players or not.

We have harps available to hire at very reasonable cost.
